Halloween treats

Hiya all just a quickie each year I make treats for my sons football team at halloween ! I made these rather then the normal trick  or treat bag of sweets ! It's literally a thin bag from stampin up filled with smarties tied with curling ribbon a spider die ! A little topper with a spider on it ! Hope u like them as much as the footy team did ! Graphic 45 frame alterations

Good afternoon crafters ! Hope your all having a fab Sunday ! I started off going to my sons footy match which they won 11-2 then home to do some crafting ! I hope you like what I've done I've bought 2 frames from the £1 shop and altered then using French country and steampunk papers used a bit of lace and a few spiders ! Well I hope you like it I must dash as I'm going out with my friend for tea ! Xxxx

Help from the hubby again

A few weeks ago one of the lads in my sons footy team got fouled in a match an resulted in his foot being broken ! We wanted to get him a get well card but I decided it had to be personal to him and special ! I gave my hubby a photo of Louis and he drew the picture for me an I have to say he's done a marvelous job ! I got the easy part of just putting the card together ! A ladies diary

My friend asked me to alter a notebook for her ! She a very classy lady so I knew what I wanted to do ! My fellow crafter cakecoffeecraft (please drop by her blog ) very kindly gave me some graphic 45 papers ! 

I started by distressing the front back an insides of the notebook adding the backing papers and making the front very decorative by using cut outs of a ladies diary added lace and flowers !

Help from the hubby :)

I was asked to do an 8x8 card for a little 2 year old boy that's mad on tractors ! I was finding it really difficult to find a tractor topper or stamp to fit the size card so I asked my husband if he could draw and colour one in for me ! Bless his cotton socks I think he made a real good job of it ! With my added touches of building the card I'm really pleased ! It was nice for me to do a little project with my hubby :) thanks for looking have a fab afternoon xx

Leaving card

Good afternoon crafters today's post is a leaving card I was asked to do ! They requested a large card for loads of people to sign but because it was such short notice I couldn't get one, so what I've done Is make a book instead using a hobbyhouse topper and stickers ! I put 2 8x8 cards together punched holes made the front with the above , the inside is literally distress ink and sticker corners all put together with ribbon ! I'm really pleased how this has turned out an I hope you like it :) enjoy the rest of your weekend xx Maria xx

Civil wedding card

Good afternoon bloggers hope you are all enjoying your weekend :) 

I was asked if I could do a civil partnership card at short notice ! I had nowhere to start an being new to craft had nothing but card to use ! I popped to my local craft shop where Wendy helped me massively she had some toppers which were kanban she embossed the card and cut some backing card for me with spellbinders ! I've put it together with a lovely ribbon an gem added the wedding info on an I have to say I'm really pleased with it !

Charity kit from hopes and chances

I purchased this kit from hopes and chances all the money from the kits she is donating 2 Ronald macdonald house which is a cause very close to her heart ! 

Back to my kit I pretty much followed the instructions which were a guideline to put it together I destressed pretty much everything (addicted to doing that ) stamped the notes pages n distressed them added a few corners coloured them with pro markers and put it all together! 

I absolutely love this and can't wait to purchase the other charity recipes to add to my book ! Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your day xx

Tim holtz inspired tag

Good afternoon crafters I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday ! I had a mad morning at football in which my sons team lost :( thankfully only a friendly lol so to cheer myself up I've sat an crafted ! Since seeing tim holtz on thurs I'm hooked on all things inspired by him ! I've made this tag stained and distressed the background and spiral flowers were done the same, added a transfer a few chitchat an embellishments and it done ! This afternoon myself an fellow crafter cakecoffeecraft have been to tim holtz class in Coventry ! Absolutely amazing I've never met such a nice down to earth man and same can be said for Mario ! We got really messy using distress paints and inks and made a fantastic tag book ! We came away with loads of freebies which were superb ! I'm absolutely buzzing haha well thanks for stopping by I'm off to look at all my new tim holtz stuff xx

Camping quickies

As you know I've just come back from camping but rather then take loads of craft papers n stuff with me I bought magazines and used the freebies with them ! Hope you like them just quick simple and pretty cards :) thanks for looking xx

Camping

Hiya all I've returned today from 6 nights of camping ! The weather was great and we all had fun ! I took a small amount of craft with me to sit and do and my word it was lovely sitting in my tent watching the sunset and crafting my idea of heaven ! In this picture my son is helping out he adores craft and enjoyed taking all the backs of my foam pads bless him ! Well back to reality now crafting in my lounge :) thanks for looking xx

Cute girls card

Good morning all here I've made a cute card using a hobbyhouse topper I've glittered the icecream for a little bit of sparkle! The flowers are peel off stickers put onto white card coloured in and cut out ! I've recently discovered peel off stickers and love using them as there is 4 stages to creating pretty flowers ! I've used a hobby house topper adding a little sparkle to her with glitter , I made the background myself using Martha Stewart's a stamp around the page and distressed it to ..
